Southern Ports has just released a new website, standardising our information and bringing together the Ports of Albany, Bunbury and Esperance under the one digital footprint for the first time. The new site features a range of live data not previously available from the port including trade, shipping, port weather, beacon, current, wave, tidal and cruise ship data Southern Ports' CEO Steve Lewis said the new site has improved navigation with standardised and simplified information across all three ports. "Each of our ports has an important role to play in the regional centres in which we operate and we want to make dealing with us as easy as possible. Our website is an important source of news and information about what's happening at the port and our new format will help to make that information more accessible to the community," said Steve. For more information about what's happening right across Southern Ports, visit our website at: www.southernports.com.au Investing in education Preparations underway for community consultation As part of our community sponsorship program, we have once again provided funding to the Rotary Club of Bunbury Leschenault to host a Science and Engineering Workshop for Year 10 students engaged in STEM activities, from local and regional schools The Port of Bunbury is currently preparing to undertake a community consultation process regarding our plans for the Revised Inner Harbour Structure Plan [RIHSP) in 2020. Acting General Manager Bunbury, Kevan Wheeler, said the program was a great fit for Southern Ports. Chief Executive Officer Steve Lewis said a tender process is currently underway to identify a facilitator for the process. "We are proud to support the engineers of the future and would like to congratulate the Rotary Club of Bunbury Leschenault on being chosen to host the Science and Engineering National Finals to be held for the first time in Western Australia," said Kevan. "This a critically important program of work for the port and we want to ensure that our consultation is robust in order to adequately identify and address the needs and interests of the community," said Steve. Once the provider is chosen, full details of the planned consultation process will be published on Southern Ports website: www.southernports.com.au Get in touch: 54 Casuarina Drive, Bunbury, 6230; PO Box 4, Bunbury, WA 6231; T: +61 8 9729 6500 email: enquiries.bunbury@southernports.com.au SgPORT TALK SOUTHERN ALBANY BUNBURY ESPERANCE BUNBURY COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER SOUTHERN PORTS Home Albany Bunbury Esperance About Southern Ports Port Operations Governance STRONG REGIONAL PORTS, STRONG REGIONS Southetn Ports is open for bushes e MORE PORT OF ALBANY PORT OF BUNBURY PORT OF ESPERANCE New Southern Ports' website is live!
