23 NOTICE OF A PUBLIC EVENT - GROOVIN THE MOO FESTIVAL HAY PARK, SATURDAY, 6TH MAY 2023 groovan the moo GTM Festivals Pty Ltd would like to advise the community of Bunbury to the return of Groovin the Moo (GTM), a music event to be held at Hay Park Saturday 6th May. The event begins at 11am and will be completed by 11pm, with music ending at 10:30pm. There will be increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the immediate area around Hay Park. The following traffic conditions will apply on the day of the event: 40km/hour event zone will be in place in both directions on Bussell Hwy between the Robertson Drive roundabout and the Parade Road roundabout from 9:00 am to late (end of the event), with one northbound lane also closed. At 9:30 pm, this section of the HWY will be closed, with traffic detoured along Robertson Drive, Underwood Street and Brittain Road. Sound checks for the event will be conducted between 3pm and 7pm on Friday 5th May and on Saturday 6th May between 8:30am and 11:00am, after which the event begins. To ensure the event is compliant with the Environmental Authorisation granted by the City of Bunbury and that there is minimal disruption to the surrounding residential area, noise levels will be continually monitored. In the lead up to and post the event, an Event Hotline will be in operation during weekday hours of 10am to 6pm AEST. While the site is occupied by GTM, from Sunday 30th April to Wednesday 10th May, the Event Hotline will be in operation from 7am to 6pm AEST. On Show Day, Saturday 6th May, the line will be in operation from 7am to 11:30pm AWST.
