Trevors Carpets was born in 1977 when Ray Green, a humble furniture salesman from Collie took a big leap of faith and purchased Trevors Home Furnishings in Highgate. Trevors initially specialised in furniture and later took the step into carpet and hard flooring which would ultimately become the mainstay of the business and hence the name change to Trevors Carpets. The business has continued to grow from strength to strength under the watchful eye of Ray and his wife Maureen and now supplies over 20 stores state wide. Trevors Carpets directly employs over 80 staff and creates a living for approximately 90 dedicated subcontractors. Very early on Ray realised the importance of exclusive products and bulk buying to provide Trevors Carpets a niche in the market place.This practice continues to this day with Trevors Carpets now carrying millions of dollars worth of stock from leading manufacturers in its 2 strategically located warehouses making Trevors Carpets the largest stockist of flooring in the state.
